Most relocation companies in Colombia are visa mills. They charge a premium to file forms, hand you a temporary cédula, and send you on your way. Three weeks later you are in a bank branch trying to explain in broken Spanish why your US passport plus a freshly stamped visa is not enough to open a checking account, and the visa mill is not answering WhatsApp.
The visa is the easy part. Settlement is what breaks people. The bank account that takes four tries because the first three branches do not open accounts for foreigners on your visa class. The healthcare enrollment that requires a notarized translation of a document your home country does not issue. The school waitlist, the lease that needs a Colombian co-signer, the driver's license process that nobody can explain consistently because the answer changed again.

- 01Step 1Discovery + visa pathway
A 45-minute call. We learn your situation: passport, income, family, timeline, why Colombia. We tell you which visa is yours and roughly when. If your case is unusual or borderline, we say so plainly.
- 02Step 2Pre-arrival paperwork
Apostilles, translations, document gathering, visa application, Colombian consulate appointment. We run point on the paperwork, you sign things. Most of this happens before you board the plane.
- 03Step 3Week 1: feet on the ground
Airport pickup. Cedula appointment scheduled. Bank account opened. SIM card. Apartment viewings if you do not have one yet. We are with you for the appointments that matter.
- 04Step 4Day 31-90: full settlement
Healthcare enrollment, school enrollment if applicable, utility transfers, driver's license process started, tax registration, and the things that cannot be done in week one. Weekly check-ins until you tell us you are settled.
